Funding Excellence

A tradition of excellence is at the heart of Husky Nation. Unrestricted and annual giving to the Fight on Fund or Sport Specific Funds are critical to the sustained success and growth of UConn Athletics. These forms of support provide the flexibility needed to address immediate priorities of the Athletic Director and individual programs.

Future Success

Establishing a legacy with UConn Athletics can be done through multiple ways of endowed or planned giving. Whether it be through endowed scholarships, endowed coaching positions, or a planned gift, these contributions provide long-term financial stability for student-athletes and help attract top talent to UConn.

Capital Enhancement

A gift to any of UConn’s athletics capital enhancement funds plays a critical role in advancing the quality and innovation of all our athletic programs. These contributions fund state-of-the-art facilities, upgraded equipment, and improved infrastructure, ensuring our Huskies have access to the best training environments possible.

Scholarships

Supporting our student-athletes by contributing to their scholarships enables them to excel both in their chosen disciplines and in representing UConn on national and international stages. Through scholarship giving, you ensure that deserving students have the opportunities they need to achieve their full potential here and beyond UConn.

Explore Husky Pride

Renowned for its excellence across all disciplines, sought-after faculty and coaches, and extraordinary athleticism, UConn Husky Pride extends beyond those associated with the University. Our achievements have inspired others across the country—and beyond its borders. There are unlimited opportunities to contribute to the continued success of the UConn Husky community.

A Thriving and Engaged UConn Nation

Our global alumni network is 280,000 strong — with enthusiastically connected alumni. There is a continued opportunity to support what makes UConn Nation thrive including participating in meetups, mentoring, committee service and ambassadorship.

Immediate priorities for establishing the sustained growth of UConn athletics include the Fight on Fund, Sport-Specific Operational Funds, the Student-Athlete Mental Health Fund and the Women’s Athletics Fund.

A Competitive Athletics Program

Our nationally recognized athletics program comprises 24 varsity teams and 700+ student athletes. Led by inspiring coaches, fueled by a fierce fan base, and driven by a shared desire to win, Huskies wear their uniforms with pride.

But it’s more than winning. We also champion our student-athletes’ success on campus and in the classroom. Your contributions can support the quality and innovation of all our athletic programs, by helping fund state-of-the-art facilities, upgraded equipment, and improved infrastructure. Contributions to the Bailey Student-Athlete Success Center and Athletics Capital Projects are two examples of how you can support life on campus for Huskies.

A Robust Endowment

School spirit goes beyond sports. Our immense pride for UConn also stems from outstanding academics, industry-leading innovation, meaningful community engagement, and strong alumni outcomes. All of this relies on the continued commitment and support from alumni, friends of UConn and the dedication to our ambitious goals for the future that will ensure we can continue our mission for generations to come.
