The world moves forward Because of UConn
And UConn moves forward Because of YOU
Breakthroughs. Bold Ideas. Big Impact.
UConn has been part of milestone moments in our nation’s history. We were at the forefront of solar energy, and our technology fueled the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. Even though our impact can be felt around the world, UConn has always been about what’s happening on our iconic campuses in Connecticut.
We have prepared students to lead, drive change, and make their mark on the world. We’re especially proud that UConn has provided meaningful pathways to a life-changing education for first-generation college students. At UConn Health, lives are changed and saved every day. Huskies continue to leave their footprints in industries of all kinds – and in all communities.
Defining the Future: Innovation and Impact
Since our founding in 1881, our academic mission has never changed, but the world has. Now, more than ever, we must make significant and transformative investments in academic excellence, innovation, and student support. We must set bold goals, because the future needs bold ideas.
That’s why we’re embarking on our biggest campaign yet. And we need your help.
Campaign Priorities
In alignment with our strategic plan, Envisioning 2034, our campaign revolves around four overarching themes:
- Students are first
- Innovation thrives
- Health and wellness of people and planet are at the forefront
- Husky pride is global
Because of you, we can achieve our ambitious goals. We’re counting on Huskies everywhere to help us define a new era in our institution’s history.
