If you are seeking an elegant location to host an event, the UConn Alumni Center is open for rentals to the UConn Community. Please note that we no longer host weddings or wedding related events.
About the Alumni Center

Opened in 1989, the Alumni Center is a 25,000-square-foot showpiece facility that is one of the most magnificent buildings on the UConn Storrs Campus.
Dedicated on Homecoming Day 2001, the Alumni Center includes the Great Hall, Alumni Hall of Excellence, J. Robert Donnelly Husky Heritage Sports Museum, meeting rooms, alumni relations staff offices, and the Alumni Lounge.

The Great Hall
Two staircases create a dramatic entry into the Great Hall, which is an expansive, carpeted space with a full bar and long window bank looking out to the lawn.

UConn Departments and Organizations
Monday through Friday, 8AM to 9PM,
$300 for the first 4 hours and $50 for each hour after that.
Saturday through Sunday, 9AM to 7PM
Please note, we do not permit alcohol in the building on Sundays – NO EXCEPTIONS

Monday through Friday, 8AM to 9PM,
$400 for the first 4 hours and $50 for each hour after that.

The Alumni Board & Conference room is perfect for meetings and team conferences. This room is equipped with the latest audio-visual technology including flat screen monitors with laptop hookups, audio, teleconferencing, and phone capabilities.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Alumni Center is located on the University of Connecticut’s main campus in Storrs. The address is 2384 Alumni Drive, Storrs, CT 06269-3053.
Our largest space, the Great Hall, accommodates 120 seated or 250 standing.
Any licensed and insured catering company is allowed. The venue does not hold a liquor license, so all alcohol is required to be provided by a licensed entity such as a caterer or bartending service. We have a small catering kitchen on the premises. We do not permit alcohol in the building on Sundays.
The Alumni Center provides chairs and a combination of tables, including tall and/or short cocktail tables, eight-foot buffet tables, and six-foot round tables. All in-stock quantities are included with your rental.
The UConn Alumni Center may be available to rent if you are not a UConn Alumni. Please email tfelder@foundation.uconn.edu and facilitiesevents@foundation.uconn.edu with your event details and we will get back to you on whether or not you are able to book with us.
